Club representatives meet monthly with staff from course operator Programmed and Council to discuss things being done or needing to be done at Chamberlain Park.

At this time of the year we can get an idea of their full year programme as their budgets have been approved and these are some of the works we expect to see over the next 12 months:

On the course

Repairs to the 5th green and control of water flowing down from the 6th tee area

Opening of the new 12th green in the spring

A new cart path between the 5th green and 6th tee

Signs to direct cart traffic away from tees and greens

More signage or a viewing platform on the 5th tee

Installation of a new water fountain and bottle filling station by the starter's hut

Replacement flags, pins and hole cups

New irrigation system. Will require closure of 9 holes in each of April/May/June 2026 and 2027

Clubhouse

Fix the turnstile

Renew the driveway to the clubhouse

Work on the roof cladding and drainage systems including renewals

Painting of changing rooms

Repair and painting of toilet cubicle walls

Upgrading of cabling and management system in the cart storage area

Other clubhouse work is planned but additional funding will be required. Also, significant funding will be available to support the work being done by the Chamberlain Conservation Group which the club actively supports.

Your representatives will keep a close eye on these work plans as the year progresses and we will continue to keep you up to date.
